Wellness has never offered more choice. From diagnostics and supplements to IV therapies, regenerative treatments, aesthetics, wearables and longevity testing, there are now countless ways to invest in health. Yet for many patients, knowing what to do, when to do it and what is actually relevant to them has become increasingly difficult. According to Sequoia Clinic, more choice has not necessarily created greater clarity, prompting the clinic to rethink what personalised healthcare should look like.
Responding to this need, the Dubai-based wellness and longevity clinic has introduced Sequoia Core, a new collection of structured health programmes designed around some of the concerns patients most commonly seek support for, including hair and scalp health, skin health, digestive wellbeing, cognitive function and healthy ageing.
Rather than asking patients to navigate a range of individual treatments themselves, each Core Programme provides a structured clinical foundation around a specific health goal. The name ‘Core’ reflects this approach: the programmes establish the starting framework, which can then be built upon according to the individual. For example, where blood testing identifies specific deficiencies, elements such as IV therapy can be adjusted with targeted ingredients based on those findings, allowing the programme to become more personalised without losing the structure it was designed to provide.
Sequoia Core Hair, for example, combines diagnostic investigation into possible contributors to hair thinning with a structured course incorporating regenerative and nutrient-support therapies. Core Gut combines detailed gastrointestinal and broader health testing with a staged protocol focused on digestive health, while Core Cognitive Function pairs targeted diagnostics with therapies designed around cognitive support, energy and mental clarity.
Skin is approached in the same way. Sequoia Core Skin has been created particularly for younger patients or those beginning a longer-term skin and wellness journey, combining internal assessment with a structured sequence of skin treatments. Core Skin Reset takes a more intensive approach to restoring skin clarity, hydration and balance, while Sequoia Thrive is designed for patients aged 35+ and combines broader diagnostics with skin, wellness and hormone-related considerations as part of a structured healthy-ageing pathway.
“People have access to more health information and treatment options than ever before, but that can also make knowing where to begin incredibly overwhelming,” said Anna Wibage, CEO of Sequoia Clinic. “What we increasingly hear is that patients want clarity and direction. They still want their healthcare to be personalised, but they do not necessarily want to piece the journey together themselves. Sequoia Core gives patients a structure and a clear starting point, while allowing their individual diagnostics, needs and goals to determine how that journey develops.”
Before treatment begins, the Sequoia Assessment helps clinicians understand the individual factors influencing a patient’s health. This allows recommendations, priorities and treatment sequencing to be guided by clinical findings while remaining within the structure of the chosen Core Programme.
The launch also reflects the types of health concerns Sequoia Clinic says patients frequently seek support for. Rather than adding another layer of choice to an already complex wellness landscape, Sequoia Core has been designed to provide a clearer starting point, combining structured, doctor-led programmes with personalised clinical assessment to help patients navigate their health with greater confidence and direction.
